If you like music, pick up some tickets to a House of Blues Boston event during your stay. With a restaurant, bar, and some of the hottest acts in the country, the House of Blues promises not to disappoint. The House of Blues is a great place to go, whether it is for a night out on the town or a special event. If classical music is more to your liking, then you must see the Boston Symphony Orchestra in one of their award winning performances. The Boston Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Keith Lockhart in gorgeous Symphony Hall, displays some of the finest musicianship in the entire world. Families love to see the Boston Pops. The Pops have concerts throughout the year, but especially enjoyable is their annual July 4th concert on the Esplanade. This free concert attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors who gather to hear the classic patriotic songs played in the outdoor shell. Boston has venues for music lovers of all genres.
Bostonians are devoted to their sports teams. The Red Sox, and the Celtics are well loved in Boston, and any time these teams are playing, a good show is guaranteed. The entire city is frosted with lights and decorations, the traditional Faneuil Hall tree is decorated to perfection, and the Boston Ballet gives nightly performances of The Nutcracker. No matter the time of year, Boston is always an eventful, fun city, guaranteed to entertain and please.
